This manual was developed and designed by Dale I. Reisen the owner of Reisen Safety Training and Staff Development, Inc. and Reisen Fire Consultants, LLC.  Mr. Reisen has 37 years in the fire service in Florida and was a operations Battalion Chief who conducted motor vehicle crash investigations involving fire apparatus and administration vehicles.  He also conducted formal internal investigations on employees when warranted.  This manual discuss how to conduct these types of investigations, preserving and collecting evidence, interviewing witnesses, employees rights including Florida Firefighter Bill of Rights, Weingarten Rights and Garrity Warnings.  We provide you with all of the needed documents and the investigative report template.
